Beyond Wonderland 2016
Trekked to San Manuel Amphitheater on Friday for Beyond Wonderland. Made it in time to catch Chris Lake, Marshmello, and Galantis. I really enjoyed Marshmello, and the vibes at Galantis were fun but they played a much stronger set at the Wiltern.

Celebrated my birthday with a stay at the Line Hotel and Galantis at the Wiltern.

Spent Superbowl Sunday at The Broad Museum with my favorite people.

Situated an hour outside of Palm Springs is the late Leonard Knight’s labor of love, Salvation Mountain. The colorful environment was created with adobe, straw and murals painted with lead free paint. Although it is outwardly biblical in nature, you don’t have to be religious to appreciate art.

October is the half birthday between this years and next years Coachella, so of course I had to celebrate with a weekend getaway to the desert. The water shortage in California is apparent in the photos, as the golf course looks neglected and dry. Next year marks my 8th Coachella, and I’ve never seen the grass look so dead before. Below is a picture from Coachella 2011 that shows how lush the grass used to be.

Celebrated the unofficial last week of summer in the city that never sleeps. New York welcomes you with open arms and has this magical quality of making you feel that you’ve already been there before, like you’ve lived this other life there that is so easy to fall into.
Bates Motel
French artist Vincent Lamouroux turned the Bates Motel, nicknamed for its likeness to Hitchcock’s hotel in Psycho, into an art installation using white ecofriendly lime wash.
Louis Vuitton Exhibit
An interactive exhibit showcasing the inspirations behind Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2015 collection was made available for free to the public in a Hollywood warehouse.
