 Here are a dozen artists I’d make a play for at ACL if I was going:
Chromeo
The duo know how to bring the funk, and stay classy while doing so.  They might bring out a famous friend or two to join in on the jam like they did at Coachella and I wouldn’t wanna miss that.

As I witnessed at Identify Festival in San Diego, if you like to dance dirty or trip to insane visuals Pretty Lights is your man.

Hands down the most fun performance at Coachella this year and they closed Pacific Festival with a raging dance party.

Talk about exhibitionists! If their performance at the Music Box or at Coachella are any indication, EOTS will bring their grandiose setup to ACL and take you to another planet.

Broken Social Scene
One of my favorite shows from 2010; BSS are magical live. They might be taking an indefinite hiatus soon because they announced that their performance at FYF would be the last in LA for a long time.  I I wouldn’t miss them for the world.

Foster the People
After catching their free show at the Echo before their Coachella debut, I predicted FTP were going to blow up.  They did (proof was the sardine packed tent), and they are so much fun life.

Cults
Cults is a closed venue type of band. While I thought their show at the Echo was fantastic, their set at FYF was great but not amazing. I’d like to give them another chance at an outdoor setting.

His energy far exceeded the intimate Purple Room at the Standard Hotel last year and he’s sure to pump you up.

Caught them last year and were surprised how tight and great they sounded despite the chaos that was Make Music Pasadena.

Probably one of the best live bands right now. Their musical talent is insane and I was floored at the number of interchanging intstruments.

I jumped out of a plane from 10,000ft and then went scuba diving in Great Barrier Reef the very next day. The MONA museum in Tasmania is the coolest museum I have ever been to and it is entirely privately funded by a guys personal art collection. I attended my first international music festival, Good Vibrations. The Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains came out of a two week cloud coverage just for us. The Great Ocean Road puts PCH to shame.
