Visuals: The Black Keys New Album Release

Talk about a quick turnaround. The Black Keys put out one of my top 3 favorite albums last year and it’s been well documented that The Keys were following up with a new album due out later this year. Now it seems we have a release date!  In the Funny or Die video below, comedian Bob Odenkirk is a used car salesman trying to pitch a 1994 El Camino with a sale date of Dec. 6th.  The clip’s summary via YouTube drops some more hints:
1994 EL CAMINO: 273,000 mi. 200 cubic-in. 3.3L 95hp V6 engine, 3-speed turbo autom shift, sapphire stylus, some ticks/pops, light surface noise.  Working AM/FM radio, tan metalflake/woodie panels, some rust.  Black vinyl seats.  Priced to sell – Grab the Keys and go! Contact Pat or Dan at (330) 510-1206.
Grab the Keys? Contact Pat (as in Patrick Carney) and Dan (as in Dan Auerbach)?   No, of course I didn’t call the number and no, you can’t hear a recording of Pat talking about the van they’re trying to sell.  Peep the video below, and keep an eye out at the end:
We’ll get our first listen of new Keys Oct. 26th with Lonely Boy, but we’ll have to wait until El Camino drops Dec. 6th to hear the rest of their album. In the meantime they’ve tried to satiate us with the 11 song tracklist:
Lonely Boy
Dead and Gone
Gold on the Ceiling
Little Black Submarines
Money Maker
Run Right Back
Sister
 Hell of a Season
Stop Stop
Nova baby
Mind Eraser
